Hi there

Looking at getting a new laptop.

Ignoring potential power saving options as I will be using the laptop 95% of the time from the mains which processor will be better for Adobe PS and Dreamweaver work?

Thanks guys

Yep has to be a laptop as it need it for when i travel with work.

Its a cost thing... i can get a hp envy 17 with full hd display, blu ray etc and i7 720qm for £800 UK and a new i5 when it is released is going to be at least £1200 UK

is the i5 sandy a significant enough improvement?

It depends on how much you use them and how big the big the projects are as in whether you need the extra processing power for 3D work and large photoshop projects. The i5 will get the job done but the i7 will get it done faster.
