This error means to low voltage?

Hi there now im running my i7-2600k with same bios settings like TTL without any power saveing Features!

1,3v @4,2 Ghz is this ok voltage whise for 24/7 usage and will it degrading my PC or not? ?It seems finally to be stable
I tested before 1,245,1265 1,275,1,285,1290 stopped because of error you can see above..what that means ^^)
i tweaked voltages since wednesday starting at stock voltage occt stable 12hrs 1,100v and going up to 1,3vwhat are your thoughts please let me know.
Do you suggest let settings or enable power saveing features?

My system:

I7-2600K @ 4.2 Ghz 1.3 Volt
G1 Killer Sniper 3 Z77 Bios F8
8 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 1600 MHZ CL9 no XMP
Gigabyte Gtx 670 OC
Samsung Pro 128 GB

U should be able to attain 4.5ghz at 1.32v (ish). I`ve got mine running at 4.2ghz on 1.245v.
Make sure uve set loadline calibration to high to compensate for vdroop.
IMC looks fine . The limit is 1.2v i think,

I'm running a 2600k at 4,7GHz at 1,35V for about a year now and it's still going strong but who knows, mabye it'l die tomorrow. All I can say is that MY 2600k have held on for a year at 1,35V so I personally think you're well within safe margins =)

LLC is exactly like in toms guide also the rest of the settings maybe occt have problem with windows 8 or so...

The point is what that error mean in occt stopped error detected..
Maybe my cpu is stable with 1,245 but occt is just wrong and detected other errors?

Maybe i can test with prime 95 blend? at 1,245 volts

say then prime 95 is stable you suggest let all settings like TTL

I tend to test with IBT and the rest is just real world testing. I`ve done 10-12 hrs of prime95 before only to realize a certain game crashes it. In the end if its pretty stable.....

First i think i let Prime custom blend RAM usage set to 7200MB (90 percent) and then maybe IBT what are your thoughts? ;-)

synthetic bench-testing is to weed out 90% of the issues of multi vs voltage.
the rest is going to be tested by real-world usage. it isn't to be used as the gospel
be-all. it does make decisions about how stable the platform is in a current config.
weak CPU/RAM/I-O setups, but mainly multiplier vs voltage.

IBT with max RAM is an amazing test. In the end all tests compliment each other so yes in combination everything should be done with moderation and dont forget memtest.
As for max voltages:
1.4 is prob ok for Vcore and Vtt and IMC shouldnt exceed 1.2v and i think they shouldnt be more than 0.5v apart from the DRAM voltage so if ure running DRAM voltage @ 1.65v IMC should be 1.15v
These are just guidelines and if u want to know more just pop into the extreme overclockers forums

IMO prime is the best to test for stability and IBT is the best to test for maximum heat you really only need about an hour on prime and a couple of 3d mark 11 or sandra runs to see if your OC is stable or not.

1.3 - 1.35 is in the safe range for SB or IB 1.4 on water, but it shouldn't be necessary for 4.2 ghz you honestly could just leave the voltage settings on auto at that frequency and not worry about overheating. you should aim more towards the 4.4 - 4.6 range those are both really good frequencys 24/7 overclocks. Dont use load line calibration unless you are using liquid nitrogen or dry ice, it can cause your vcore to spike during load, try disabling llc. If vdroop is on you'll actually be @ a vcore about .25-.50 lower than you set in bios so @ 1.3 you would be about on par for voltage for 4.2 @ around 1.250. Raising PWM frequency is also a good idea since it controls power switching for the whole board, just make sure you point a fan towards your motherboards vrm heatsinks.

Hii guys once again my ram was tested with memtest86+ passes without errors-
I think my cpu is crap prime 95 blend also stopped after 1hrs 15 minutes so do occt..
but the weird thing even with 1,180v windows starts @ 4.2 Ghz :DD

Im planning now to change to a i5-3570k what are your thoughts ^^
or maybe corsair dominator platinum are incompatible

windows boot can be trying, but its not a real load test, just an indicator
that something could be right.

i find it hard to hold that a the 2500k could be so "worn" to sit at
a simple 4.2GHz with voltage out of the ying-yang. 4.6 and higher
yes, but low multipliers very, very faint.

platties are purely cosmetic for the price.

Thread can be closed i bought new ram and now 1.235v is stable with occt 10 hrs tested no erros but still boot loop issues
