i5 760 temps

Managed to muster the courage to do my first bit of voltage increasing and intermediate over clocking.

I've achieved stable and good temps for a 3.8Ghz @ 1.25v.

Right now I'm testing a 4Ghz OC @ 1.3v, seems to be alright however the 100% load temps are sitting at 65,69,69,78. Is this an alright temp? I tried searching but could only find newer gen i5 temps.

Edit: 45 minutes into 100% load test and both CPU fans stopped causing a force shutdown. The fans work if I plug them into a miles, but not the CPU header anymore, perhaps a bad cable? (Fans>splitter>3pin to 4pin CPU header). I'm thinking items the 3pin to4. Using a ph-tc14pe

Not a CPU i have used but from a quick Google search i found that you want to keep temps under 70-75 i stand corrected if i'm wrong. i would try standard heat sink fan in the CPU header to test that first

The max comfortable temp of this processor is 72.7c and max voltage is 1.4v
Remember that the pocessor is on the Lynfield architecture and does get hot. Back in the days my i5-750 became 69c @ 3.8ghz @ 1.25v. So it's a quite normal temp. Watercooling or a bigger aircooler can get you further.
