Whats the oppinion on the Asus A8R32-MVP? Ive read a few reviews and it seems to be pretty dam good...

Seems to be rolling on, this one.

If you haven't already done so, I'd be inclined to get a new board, just a cheapie for testing purposes. Since my frustrating experience I've been scouring the car boot sales and free-ad classifieds and picked up a bit of kit ready to build my test rig in the new year. This is gonna be a wooden frame with PSU, mobo, couple of switches, and a PCI tester. Later in the year I may build an AM2 test rig and an Intel based one.

Hell I might even take some pics and post 'em on here as a project;)
 
Ive sent this board back for RMA, and will *fingers crossed* be getting an Expert of mark:p.

Shldda updated sooner...
 
*sigh*

Out of stock of the infinity now. So ive replaced it with a Asus A8V-VM and been credited with the difference.

As long as it gets here and works i spose, time to start saving for conroe...
