sup guys i dropped my iphone4 earlier down the stairs and whatever happened the thing exploded im talking the screen back batter and the metal body are all separate components. MANGLED. does anyone know of a way i can access the data stored on the memory chip without the thing having a functional battery screen etc. i am screwed i had important business info and a buttload of family pictures from the weekend holiday. perfect timing. so any ideas from some of you tech geniuses would be awesome.l cheers

photostream was turned off for some reason. i had turned it on and it said on the phone my icloud was 50% full but pc app 0% so is there any other way

Have you tried syncing it with your PC? If you can get the battery back on and a sync cable on you should be good. Screen doesn't matter.

have you tried plugging it into a pc? its a bit risky, so ....erm...

well, actually, its not recomended, id do it, but worst case scenario ...wear rubber gloves and it may blow a usb port for you...

then i guess your only option is back to apple, who will charge through their rear orifice for it

yea i figured imma need to buy a new battery. ill score one in the new year. im pretty sure the mobo is fine. the metal shell warped tho lol
