The milenium bug was meant to be some almighty bug that would affect all PC's when the mileniom struck....didn't happen at all....lots of computer firms were very scared about it. ;)

millennium was a scam for people to go out and buy new windows computers. damnit bill gates, you suck.

yes thats right we wouldnt have as much money

bill gates did nuffin!!! he made is money by stealing the source code from another os (QDOS);

rephrase please ,, if it werent for the talented programmers bill hired we wouldnt have a lot of things

does everybody know how the millenium bug worked??

let me explain for those who dont cos it is very interesting...

most dates were written as 2 digit years...for exampple........ 04/04/99

now this was obviously 1999 for anybody with half a mind, but unfortunately computers dont know that. they just assumed that the year was 19XX. so when the millenium came and the date changed to 01/01/00. everybody thought that the computer would think it is 1st Jan 1900. this would supposedly cause a vicious chain of events wiping out all debt bills and subsequently crashing computers. needless to say it didnt happen. they just updated OS's to interpret the dat correctly. ;)

No student loans then muffin?

We don't have to think about that for another couple of years :)

Not really a debt is it...no interest, paid back in teeny weeny amounts (and only when you can afford it).

Best thing about student is my £1200 interest-free overdraft, I live on it :D
