Hello Everyone

Don't know where to post asking for help so sorry if i have posted this thread in the wrong place.

Basically i have just finished putting together my first build after receiving my new case from overclockers this morning, everything seems to be going to s%** and I'm getting really frustrated!

After closing up the case and pressing the on button, i hear a loud bang and see a small spark fly out the bottom of my case where my psu is and thought great my new computer is bloody broke already.

I quickly double checked there wasn't any problems inside the case and connected my psu from my other computer to see if the motherboard etc was still working. The new psu is buggered but besides that everything else seems OK,except after booting up and loading into my OS my keyboard and mouse turn off!!Anybody kind enough to tell me whats wrong please?

The keyboard and mouse are on until booting into OS and keyboard works fine in bios.i'm just hoping it is not the motherboard that is broken also.

Here are my specs

6gb corsair ram

I7 950

sabertooth motherboard

akasa venom heatsink

antec 1200 case

1 500gb hd

1 ssd intel

500 watt ocz psu

hd readon 5550

I bought the psu last week after seeing it on sale here on overclockers,i checked and double checked how much juice i would need and i was hitting 430 max on more than a couple power calculators and thought this would be good enough until i upgrade my graphics card, obviously not lol.

Thanks in advance

Get the Antec DF-85 case instead, it's an uptaded version of the 1200. Allthough it's red and black themed instead of blue and black.

Id change the case and I would probly go for The new Handy Dandy Sandy brigde!
