I had a very HOT moment !!

Because i kinda set my room on fire

I have a standaard wich has the burning stuff in a bucket (very flammable) nice and warm and romantic

but what i always try to avoid happened today, i slammed the complete standaard over with all the burning fluid all over the floor ,

resulting in one burning room, i run upstairs and got the

hoping it still works as its way to old.. but hell yes it worked my complete room is covered with white powder

i am still working on getting it cleaned..

also tried to use my jacket to get it out but it got on fire as well see pic

But seriously my room is covered with powder, dowstairs as well also the bathroom is covered ,

this is going to be long cleaning day ..

Both my rigs are now white but still working (F@H).......

That was it from a white and stinky place !

K i knew this would happen

one of my GTX470's stopped working, was the rig closet to the fire so it got powder in the GPU.. i am cleaning it as i type

I can return it as i just got it but that's not the guy i am , if its dead because of me i won't try to RMA it ,

just the way i am

But i think a good clean up will repair it ..

i'll report back laters....

But the really worst thing is , the smell... my god my jacket was burned and smells like craP

LOL and my cat had nothing to do with it , before MisterBlah comes in

One of my employees dropped a box containing powder fire extinguishers in a small room whilst we were in there, it set it off and we couldn't see the way out after about 5 seconds. Bloody awful stuff but good at its job. The powders bloody awful to get rid off, he was hoovering and sweeping for a full day afterwards and the stink is unbelievable.

Try not to inhale to much of the powder mate, use a mask if possible.

Ahhh man that powder crap is horrible and a serious pain in the arse to clean. You might as well not bother for the first day as it just doesn't finish settling.

My mate completely covered me (head to toe) and what ended up as half the inside of our villa on holiday. He was a little drunk and thought it would be funny. We'd just finished getting ready to go out and we never made it out as we all spent the whole night cleaning.

I didn't help matters though as I then covered him completely... It was either that or throw him over the balcony..... Seriously. Livid at the time.

Edit: Just looked at the pic... Powder doesn't look so bad in that one. Glad you got it put out though.

Man a happy dude here !!

Just had to throw away some brand new logitech speakers as their filled up and are as dead as Elvis

but best part still is, that my GPU is back at F@H and working like a charme !!

WOuld an air duster not clean out the speakers? good blast of air is usually good a t that sort of stuff. Glad you had no other fatality's.

Used one and the vavuum cleaner.. even got them apart competly, i think it has had a nice little spark, behind the speaker it was nice and black ! ,

i think the burning fluid got into them as there where very close to the fire

but their not that expensive so the lost is minimal....

but so glad my brand new GPU is back at life
