Hyperthreaded phenom?????

just messing around with my PC giving it a clean up using glary utilities, gone on the system information option and found this!!!!!!!!!!

i'm 99.99% sure that this is an error. anyone else come across this before?

I know about AMD using 6 core phenoms, locking 2 cores and selling it as a 960T...

But since Hyper-Threading is an intel only piece of technology, unless intel have started buying Intels, locking cores/clocks and rebranding with different sockets, I dont think thats right

i have a 955 Phenom 2 and i have HTT as well apparantly.

I wonder if its getting confused with Hyper Transport?

i have unlocked 550 be to b50, and according to sandra lite i dont have hyper threading

im sure its and error

you should try to unlock your cores

the 955 is a true quad core no extras on it, trust me i've tried

There is absolutely no hyper threading on that chip, and there is no way to unlock another two cores as the 955 is a true quad. Only quads with a T for (thuban) have an extra 2 cores.
