It will be for freeview HD and maybe Freesat HD or sky

actually just go to CCL and look for ITX cases, theres quite a few (don't know how good they are though)

Antec Micro Fusion? Its a bit deeper than your average av gear, but it can be made to run very quietly with the right components. The VFD however isn't very good - I just have mine switched off.

Those Origin cases looks damm good, but they are so expencive. Have you showed him the SS Fortress 3? I saw this today, and i think it looks interesting: Lian Li

Some other cases i like: Lian Li PC-Q08B, Lian Li PC-V354, SS TJ08-E, Fractal Design Define Mini, SS Sugo 5-7-8

Yep, have to admit, in the right settings the FT03 would look awesome. SG08 is also another personal favourite of mine - but its expensive.

Yeah, I agree the ss case is awesome, but i took him to scan to see it and he decided that it was too big, also that Lian Li case would be perfect if it wasn't lacking any expansion slots

Yep finding an HTPC case is pretty difficult, especially if you want it to house expansion cards as well. The components themselves are reasonably easy once you've made a case choice.
