HTC has released a new Enterprise Edition of the HTC Vive, which offers a 12-month warranty, dedicated business class customer support, and commercial Licensing.

Because they are assuming enterprise users are likely incompetent technophobes :D

No its just that enterprise customers don't expect to deal with other peoples problems, so they pay through the arse for tech support so they can focus on their core business.

Precisely. They pay so that they have as little downtime as possible.

You'd be surprised how much time can be wasted on some hardware because of a silly issue in software. They don't want to spend time in a queue for basic support.

Basically, throw some more money at the problem so that your issue is fixed faster.
