HP has announced their new OMEN X 35-inch 3440x1440 G-Sync display, offering a refresh rate of 100Hz and an 1800R curve.

Odd they have chosen G-Sync when all of their other high end displays are Freesync. Might be a re-shell this.

They call it the Omen. It's 13 Hundred dollars... Hmmm... I shall call mine Damien.

Seriously a nice competitor to the Swift and Predator. A little on the high side as far as pricing goes so will have to deliver. 100hz and G Sync is nice.

Is the extra Inch worth it?
