I just bought some reaperx pc 6400 memory insteed of buying the pc 8000 versions, which were £60 more.
I first thing I did was to set the pc 6400 to the same timing and fsb as the pc 8000s (1000) and they run fine. Did some memory test on Everest that you can see bellow.
I increased it to 1066 with the same timings. Boots fine seemed ok, run some stability tests and they all check out, but when I run Everest it shows everything running slower? Anyone know why, and do you think it’s worth getting the 8000 version for an extra £60?
Thank
Adam
