That's it, just let it run. Your PPD will show when it turns green.

484 points and 1% complete. Is this normal?

Yep that is normal the points is how many points the WU you are doing is worth but you will need to do 10 WUs before you start earning bonus point's.

What are WU's?

How do people get like 20000PPD? im only getting 484

WUs are work units that is what you fold.

484 is the amount of points the WU is worth not your PPD your PPD is the box on the far right that is yellow when you start and turns green. PPD is "points per day" so for example if you can do 4 WUs a day that are worth 484 then your PPD would be around 1936.

The amount of PPD you get depends on how powerful your CPU or GPU is, the better they are the faster they are able to complete a WU giving you more PPD.

I only get between 14,000 and 11,000 PPD depending on the WU but someone like riotcity76 with his Dual Xeon SR2 build is getting around 170,000PPD.

It says 5,490.2 PPD. Is this an Ok score for an i5 760 quad core at 3.8Ghz?

Not sure, I don't know how much PPD different CPUs get to be honest but I think there are a couple of folders on here folding on i5's they should be able to tell you if thats right or not.
