Right probably been asked before but how does water 'escape' from a water loop when theres no leaks? Like over time the coolant level drops slightly..

Evaporation?

Evaporates where though, if its sealed tight.

Well while most of the seals are probably good enough to keep the water inside the loop in liquid form, once it turns to vapour its a different story.

through the tubing as pressure builds (if u dont have a hole for it to escape through, usualy in the res cap), or as vapour through the seals. just keep refilling it as the level drops checking to make sure that there is in fact no leak causeing it.

ayee i know there isnt a leak ive built a fair few loops in my time.. it was just one of those daft questions i fancied knowing the answer too lol.

lol just b/c u've done it for a wile doesnt mean it wont leak as tubing gets old or maybe something comes loose but i see wat ur saying.
