How does memory Overclock? My Rig won't boot past 400fsb due to the RAM?

As above, I am trying for over 400fsb but having some troubles, my RAM Runs at 799mhz if I run my CPU at 399fsb and my PCI-e at 100Mhz but if i go to 400fsb then my pci will go to 103mhz and subsequently my rig has lots of trouble/bsod's alot!

If I go to say 425fsb my RAM states that it is running, 849MHz? If i change the ratio it will only go higher say to 1049Mhz...

Can it run that high? How far can I push it? Its corsair XMS2 2x2GB CL5 (5-5-5-15) Should I get RAM that is capable of 1000MHz? Or is that not compatible with my MoBo (Asus P5Q-VM)

Any help is muchly appreciated!

Thanks

Joe

Saw the Sticky in the RAM section which answered my own Question. Could the Mods please remove this thread?
