How do multi port fitting work??

Hi,

I honestly do not understand how they work, I.E this one:

How does this work, does it split the stream into three separate streams? If so are those streams weaker? or need to meet once more in another part of the loop?

Sorry I realize that is is kind of a dumb question, however unfortunately I am new to this sort of thing and find this extremely puzzling.

If you were to split it into three, they would only be a third of the pressure each. Depending on your pump that may not be an issue though.

Chances are you don't need to worry about anything like that if you're doing it yourself. They'd only be used in very specific circumstances, and dual/messy loops are frowned upon on OC3D.

Id never use these matey. Loops should be in series. Stuff like this just makes everything look wrong.

Only time I have seen these used effectively is when someone hooked up 4 pumps to drive a loop. And even then, it wasn't a pleasant sight.

Im just reporting the only time I have ever seen it used. Besides these Q connectors are massively overpriced too.

I see thanks for the info, makes sense too, anyways the only reason I wanted one of these is because I wanted to place it where my gpu and cpu blocks were, so that my gpu block doest use to cooler water and then feed the water that has already absorbed heat from the gpu to the cpu.

Anyways thanks guys I will think of a better way.
