I recenlty bought all the components for my build. Except the gtx 680. It's still out of stock everywhere. How did you guys get yours? do I just take a week off work to sit and hit F5 on the newegg page?
For anyone that is curious, I ended up changing my build slightly thanks to some advice from forum members.
CHANGED
NZXT switch 810 white - - - (instead of haf x)
asus P9X79PRO - - - (instead of sabertooth)
2 kits of 32gb gskill ares 1866 - - - (instead of corsair vengance 1600)
corsair hx1050 - - - (instead of coolermaster 1200)
STAYED THE SAME
i7-3930k
intel 520 240gb ssd x2
2TB 7200rpm hdd
corsair H100
now I just need an effing gtx 680. I was thinking about waiting for the evga FTW 4gb version but considering how hard it is to get a card that's been out for a month I don't know if I would be able to wait a month after that cards release to get one. Unless, you kids got some insight on how to get one.
I'm a little worried about not getting the pc built as soon as I get the parts. I want to be able to find any errors early and get stuff replaced.
