Seems the consoles are still on top, sadly. I'm not surprized that the mobile market is still growing that fast tbh. Pretty much everyone has a smartphone nowadays, so all it takes is a tiny transaction, and you've boosted the mobile statistic, whereas you need a relatively expensive (and in some/most cases dedicated) setup to be part of the two more serious segments.

Nope pc gaming looks to be ahead by 3% or 2.9bn. I remember when pc gaming was tiny barely anyone played games on thier pc. I had my amd athlon cpu and voodoo graphics card and 20years later it's booming.

The evolution of pc gaming has been amazing

Not so sure if this is even close.. every quarter it see they announce a decline in hardware/software sale declines for the US. Everyone else must be buying in loads to make up for the losses.

You can't really include casual web games in PC gaming if we're talking PC vs consoles...

I think you can as you have similar type games on console as well in the form or arcade style games and cheap 3rd party titles it just isn't separated like it is on pc

Nobody buys a console to only play cheap arcade titles, though. A low powered office workstation can play casual webgames, though, so pretty much everyone can do that. It's about availability, and that's why you can't include the web games in 'PC Gaming'
