How bad is it to have your computer beside a radiator?

So obviously it can't be good but it's not for me but I'm wondering how bad would it be to put you're tower on the floor in front of the radiator and on top of a desk which is in front of the radiator?
Is it a definite no go or should it be okay. I'm unable to test temps at a radiator myself but what do you think?

Imo a NO GO. The radiator could always be turned off? Well in my house I am able to turn off each radiator individually.

Is there no way the desk could be orientated in another direction, away from the radiator if it can't be turned off.

Ive done it for years. Would rather not have it that way but I can't avoid it. Never had any issues. However I never really turn it on I just have my door open to warm the room up.

Run everything at stock - I wouldn't try pushing clocks at all.

I wouldnt worry, the exuast fan should be moving more air than the radiator.

Or put some foil on the back of the case
