How are we going to raise OC3D awareness?

We all need to brainstorm on a good advertising and promotion strategy for SX that doesn't involve publicly spamming other forums (that will give us a horrible reputation, we don't want that).

So, let's all put our heads together and think of something to draw people to our site. XMS already has the referall prize drawing going on which is good but I don't know how well that's working, hehe.

Any ideas?

make sure it's listed in google, and such, get some people to add the address to their MSN/Yahoo nicknames and such, buy more domains so the site can be linked to by various domains, some other forums i know, have several domains, up to 30+ for various threads and sub forums

A good idea is to remove the "sysxtreme.com" from the site title - search engines punish quite heavily for that. I found this site that provides good advice... ran this URL through it for kicks.

Ignore the thing about the Disability Discrimination Act, the only site I found that this engine didn't bitch about was the one on which it was located.
