how's that? damn..cuz this run with cpuz and prob II so a bit slower than it should be; but it's really really crazy:band:

LOL The RAM is obtainable, but those CPU speeds on air are impressive :D

DDR2 tweaking is throwing me totally, I just cant get the hang of it, and the tweaks I applied to DDR1 on an AMD system just dont have the same effect :(

OPB that is crazy man, thanks for sharing

How can us mortals get our hands on such fantastic RAM :)

Nice results :D

Mav, yours should run TRP 3 there quite happily. Notch up the voltage if you have too but it should be do-able. Hell had some XMS2 C4 5400 pro that ran TRCD @ 3 to ~ 420 (if the same @ DDR1 holds true at DDR2 its harder to run tight than TRP is)

Cas3 probably wont make a massive difference.

Nice! What cooler are you using? As for the RAM, try and push it further!

Can't you get 4.0ghz+ on the Core 2 Extreme?

EDIT: Right, 4ghz is the limit for the E6600, and 4ghz is the limit for the X6800. Don't buy the X6800!

EDITED TO TAKE OUT PICS, sorry. Kenny

4Ghz isnt the limit for the 6600 where are you reading that rubbish from?

I've seen them doing Pi at 4.5Ghz and as for the X6800 Thicky managed 4Ghz on the stock air cooler and 4.7Ghz suicide so where ever your getting your info is complete rubbish.

Hell even the 6700 I was using did 4.6Ghz!!

I meant on air. Not overall limit, but how the hell did he get 4ghz on stock? Was it pushing the limits, and stabilty? 4ghz Tuniq Tower is stable, 4.2 is very high. Do you have a link?

4.6 wasnt on air ;) Was on LN2.

Both of you should be specific with respect to cooling ;)

Yeah, I knew that, but who the hell got X6800 4ghz on stock air! That doesn't sound quite right, 3.7 is about right.

Thickbrit here did it. He's a master at Intel OC on EP-UK. We got close to 7Ghz out fo a 670 on LN2 before.
