Hello Guys, Welcome to the first edition of "Hold HypoG By The Hands".
Great news, exams are over, and I've time to finally set up my rig as the parts have arrived.
The rig in question is as per my signature and I've been having some fun with it. Well I've been testing to see if I have everything in good order, played some games with it at stock, etc. *Note: Idle GC temp 60*C, in game, it reduced to 54*c, perhaps because of me using the fan controller or maybe the GPU fan just spun faster.*
So, I'm glad to say the TRUE with the Yate Loon's are doing me proud, with a
28-32*C reading while gaming. However, the PWMIC and Chipset remain at higher 50's to lower 60's. If I open up my window, the Siberian breeze brings temperatures even lower, namely the cpu at 23-25* C akin to using h20
.
Right so the reason I started this thread is to have an online sort of journal for the trials and tribulations I'm going through on my quest to push my new (albeit low end) rig to it's limit without hopefully frying the chip. I hope everyone here will be able to guide me on my quest with your vast wealth of knowledge.
Before we start, some details

So who is on board?
