It`s great they`re investing their rnd in reducing power consumption of such devices.
Good for those with 1 or 2 drives in their system, but even better for those with masses of drives about the place.
It`s not a direct comparison, watts to heat, but it appears to me that with less power being used, the less heat as a whole consideration to a system.
Amazes me how a 25w utilizing block of hardware can pump out 75 degrees or so of heat anyways..
(note I have absolutely no interest in any leaning environ-mental-y)
