High end gaming PC build - my first

I was actually considering the silverstone before picking the coolermaster stacker. I like the look of it, so if you think its definitely worth the extra 60 or so quid then I have no problem going for it :)

As far as I can see, there is no way of fitting my Xfi card on the rampage II with SLi. The MSI board I picked out has been reviewed well and will also allow for the xfi to fit between the two graphics cards - which is very important for me.

So far then the setup is as follows:

MSI Eclipse MoBo

Intel i7 920 CPU (& Asus Triton 81 Cooler)

SLi BFG 280GTXs

6GB Corsair Dominator Memory

Corsair 1000W PSU

Velociraptor 300GB HD

Silverstone TJO9 Case

I'm quite happy with this set up but if there is something seriously wrong with it please let me know. I know I can get good performance out of gtx260s versus gtx280s but I would rather go with the 280s, and I'm happy enough to fork out for them (just got my christmas bonus from work which was triple what I expected!)

you must be mad the rampage II comes with a creative a seperate 7.1 sound card solution and is miles in front of the eclipse in every respect. you want a tj07 not a tj09.

and the difference from a gtx280 and the new gtx260 with the higher stream processors is nothing!!! I have 2x gtx280's myself and know this for fact, but is your money

£2k on gear.

All the right directions for components and stuff. Practical for looking forward too.

Just seems mad to me that u could probably spend less than £1.5k on an earlier generation of gear, stick it a box so u can't see the stuff and notice NO real world difference.
