Hello peeps

Thought i'd sign up, i've been a follower and fan of the OC3D vids on youtube, and thought yer lets sign up :)

Anyways i've built my first rig about 2 months ago, its consits of:

Obsidian 800D, Asus Rampage IV Formula, i73930K @ 4.9, Corsair Vengeance 16GB 2133, Asus GTX 680 TOP, EK Supremeacy Nikel Plexi
EK 360 XTX Rad, XSPC Dual bay res, Alphacool D5 Pump, Masterkleer tubing, Bitspower compression fittings, Skythe Fan controller, Akasa Vipers, OCZ 120GB SSD, Samsung Blu Ray RWR, Asus VE278Q Monitor.

At the mo i've Got it clocked at 4.9 for 24/7, I have pushed it to 5ghz, but only for a quick Cinebench run. 5ghz is difficult to get stable without 'scary' kind of vcore

yer i know what you mean. The yellow on the fans does contrast a bit, and some of this is mainly due to the uv lights, i will prob take em out at some point and maybe change fans, i dunno, i just built it so will prob just leave it for a while. Everyone seems to have very much a 'strict' colour coding scheme, i just thought ahh what the hell lol
 
Welcome!! I'm sure a blue fan would look good in there. What sort of volts do you push through the 3930 @ 4,9? Curious because i also have one :)
 
its running 1.416vcore - offset OC, so its not constant. 4.8 is def the sweet spot for my CPU, but i've been running 4.9 for about a month now, and so far so good, well no BSODs or freezing etc.
