Started watching Tom's video's when trying to find the best way forward to improve my Q9550 temps in an HTPC case.
That somehow turned into buying a HAF X Case, and new P67 motherboard, 2600K and XSPC Watercooling kit.
Not sure that was entirely the path intended but ah well, one of the kids is now running the Maximus II Gene with the Q9550, it's keeping him quiet so think I got away with it regarding the other half.
I'm an engineer by trade destined to happen I've been taking things to bits since the 70's (that first digital alarm clock never worked again) now working for a big aerospace company (Pre Socratic Greek Philosopher) and did 16 years in the Air Force serving Queen,Country and burgers.
