Hi guys.

I'm Grant - from the UK but living in Japan.

I subscribe to Tom's videos on Youtube and visit this site too for ideas etc.

The reason I'm joining is, to be honest, I was hoping for a reliable overclocking guide for the i7-930.

I've googled and read a couple of guides and then read other forums or threads where people are disagreeing with temperatures, leaving on or off some Intel options in the Bios etc for some of those guides.

I've only had this rig running about 5 days but I'm pretty busy, and I respect Tom's experience, dedication and style - so I'm hoping to get some help focussing on just the 930. (Most of what I've read has been 920 based.)

Anyway, maybe you can point me in the right direction if there is a resource that many of you i7-930 OC3Ders use..

Cheers. It's the Noctua NH D14 (same as you).

(We don't have AC in this place. In the summer it's really hot and in the winter it's really cold.)
