Hey all. I've been around forever on youtube, just never made it to the forum because I had been using tons of forums, and it was taking up so much of my time that I took a year long break from 'most' of the forums I used; but I'm back!
It's nice to see that this is a pretty big community, I'm sure I'll learn a lot here.
So I'm David, work in IT, but studies Astrophysics, live near the East Coast near the PA/NJ state line, in Stroudsburg, aka The Pocono Mountains, aka the sixth borough of NYC
My rig is aging badly, but damn it runs nearly everything because my video card is somehow magic, super low voltage and it just OC's on and on right to the limit in Afterburner
Anyway it's old, I'll be building myself, and my wife (I'm a newly wed my wife is from Denmark, she moved here February 3rd and and it's been great...yes we met on FB...oh jeez.. haha) new systems starting very soon. I'll probably start shopping within a month, already have the budget worked to $5k, so we will probably go the typical 4770k/gtx770/samsung840pro etc etc. She's a gamer and a nerd but hot and it's going great.
I guess that's a really big intro and I probably seem a bit eccentric, or maybe it's the medication :huh:
Anyway really happy I found my way here, I obsess over PC hardware so I hope to find a nice home for discussions!
