afterwards i found some other sinks in some drawer and covered all vrm chips (most of them would fall off as soon as it got hot

)

rams are still without hs

fan is a slipstream, but... the resistor i put on so it doesn't run full rpm is too high (was the first i found in the drawer™ that looked like it could handle a couple of watts

) and it's barely spinning at about 700rpm-_-

it gets a little hot but i'll fix that probably tomorrow

and yes, i traded the 5870

p.s. it's a palit with flashed bios 800/1600/1000 stock volts, also got overvolt bios ready

91c max in the vantage run i posted above--- vrm sinks were burning and the hr03's heatpipes left a mark on my finger

found another 2 resistors

now the slipstream runs at ~1200rpm

900/1800/1000 1.112v through Heaven and Vantage max temp 71c





856mhz heaven stock volts max temp 61c (856mhz in afterburner, some bug there maybe with gpuz)





as you can see the stock palit hs is very good as a base for soldering iron

the beast



maybe i'll try for more mhz later
