Hi guys, I was wondering about a lil issue that I have, I did a build out of some spare components I had lying around and now I want to keep the rig and upgrade it a bit. I got a corsair TX650 and XMS 2x2gb and a 400R kit from my girl friend.

Now.....

My issues is to go with the Corsair H100 or reuse the RS240 loop in my current Spare parts build (will upload a photo for ya'll).

Don't mind some modding and to fit the RS240 in can just move radiator across away from the mobo.

Tell me what you think

And if you are wondering its on its facebook page http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.323030244406517.83389.100000986326451&type=3 along with the other spare parts and budget builds I did over the years.

eh, I'd imagine the RS240 WOULD be better. Not by leaps and bounds though. I'd probably take the lazy way out and use the H100, you know....less hassle. lol But if you got the time, go for it.

Seems a bit silly to buy an H100 if you've got the rs lying around. I'd rather spend that money on some decent rad fans like the gentle typhoons (which you will need to get anyway to make proper use of the H100 since the stock fans are shocking).

Performance will be pretty much identical i think. So if you fancy the modding and saving a few pounds then go for the rs.

Or can the radiator be mounted on the HDD cage? also if it helps i got more than 1 RS240 kicking around my place. have a HD 5770 in currently and may get a used HD 6870 later on (more for just reading and slight gaming) and i do have a 6870 waterblock for a build for a friend.

Its a gift so i plan to use it. hell or high waters.
