HELP with SATA2 and Hitachi FTOOL

The NF4 on mav's dfi is sata1/sata2 compatible, but mav is all sorted now.

yes but to enable sataII u must install the nvidia SW drivers

The dfi exspert is a bit of a pain with witch sata chanels it likes.like the memory likes the two orange slots.sata/sata 2 likes chanels 3/4 as u found out mav sorry would have read last night but went to bed.once u work out f-tool its ok but it is bit of a mystery at first as to what u acualy have turned on.glad to hear u got it sorted.

My M/B works fine on any chanel 1-2. 1-3 ECT, like i said before some M/B can be a pain and some are OK.

yeah i think your right sacha .think its the maxtor sata 2 drives and nf4 chipset that have a real problem working together.
