ya i seen that but i dont fully understand it i presume the + and the - pins are to connect the cabe that gos on the power on heder on the motherboard i think

dont whant to try stiking cabels on to eny pins and it ends up damaging the computer

i believe that mean that you will need to solder/blade crimp the wire to terminals 3 and 4 making sure to have the poles right in relation to the wire coming from the headers

a ye got it now its powering the computer on but the light isnt coming on on it

they are the pins between 1-4 and 3-2. the poles are the same as for leds as they are for the switching. the headers only provide 3.3v so the may be a little dim as most of those anti vandal switches (mine included) are 12v rated. they will still light but not as bright as they can

a got it now the + and - pins are for the power LED and 3-4 for the power switch

thanks for all the help got it all working now thanks

Ok just so I know you have it wired up as follows:-

1 = ?

2 = ?

3 = -ve m/b header

4 = +ve m/b header

minus = -ve 12v molex

plus = +ve 12v molex

So what are pins 1 & 2 for?
