Please help !!!!!!
Hi All I hope some 1 out in the world will feel sorry for me.
I jumped in and picked up some new bits

  • Asus Z87M-plus
  • Samsung 120gb ssd
  • Vulcan 16gb mem
  • I5 4670K
  • and a Radeon 270x 4gb ddr5
but now I have hit a full stop was looking for a new case to fit it all in .
but would like to go a bit smaller if poss from my old 1
Ezcool 500Dx500Hx 180W
#Looked at

  • BitFenix
  • Corsair
  • Fractal Design ARC R2
  • Fractal Design R4
I would like to have 140 mm fans and as it sits on my desk 3 feet from my head small amount of sound would be nice

Normally I'd agree with the Arc Midi R2, but as you're using a micro-ATX board I'd suggest getting an mATX case as well.

I do like the Bitfenix cases but the mATX lay-out is a bit.. inefficient, so I'd recommend either the Corsair 350D or the smaller Arc Mini R2.

Why are you buying a 4GB card? What resolution will you be gaming on? 2GB is plenty for 1080p gaming and you might as well use the money to bump it up to a 280 or 280x.

Well, honestly I'd either spend that £20 elsewhere, like on a Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler, or just save it.

Beware that there is a difference between the Arc Midi R2 and the Arc Mini R2. The Mini is a micro-ATX case where the Midi is regular ATX. When you buy an m-ATX motherboard, I'd also get an m-ATX case.

The top of the Arc Mini supports op to 360mm radiators in the top and 240mm in the front. The top fan/rad mounts are also offset, so you can fit pretty thick rads in there.

If you mean your videocard, that shouldn't be a problem either as you can remove the HDD cages to create more room for them. With them in place, the case still supports videocards up to 26.5 cm or 10.5".

I agree with this.

Especially the 4GB memory mentioned earlier. Mine as well bump up to a new GPU or save it.
