The guy wants to learn but has a fear of things - I wish I'd hav had a mentor when I started out - a little slack is required here gents.

LOL - it seems I'm suddenly on first name terms with everyone :D.

I probably won't have that stuff until the beginning of December and yes I would just be showing off but you're all more than welcome to stop by any time (especially if you're good at differential equations of numbers & sets).

EDIT: Just noticed 800th post - w00t! :D

Sorry, didnt mean any offense, but most of us know each others real names, and we been here long enough....

I`m pretty good at differential Equations...would you like help with homogeneous, inhomogenous, linear, 2nd Order, partial or...err....deep fried?

mind me asking whose gunna sort you out? overclocking is more fun when you do it your self i.e. like trial and error, its all about the reading i spend hours rweading stuff researchin about products and reviews of them how they work and what works best. Read post on here.

If your really desperate ask soem oen for help via teh phone with a similar set up as your teh dfi bios is big and bad but also very good hell if no one else offer pm me and yyou can speak to me about clocking ill help you and i ahve got teh same board as you and have a fare amount of experience even ring gollum or mav its cheaper and you get to do it your self sorta

pm me if you want to speak to me on eth phone or some else pm justin if tehya re prepared to do teh same

I have to admit, when I first got into Overclocking and started to love it, I was gobsmacked at some of the figures the chaps over at XS were getting, and I'd have loved the opportunity to get Macca or someone over at mine and to clock the nuts off my syste, to see what I was missing!

As soon as you get the basics, Justin, you will fly with that setup!

No I didn't take offence - I just thought it was rather funny. Feel free to call me Richard.

LOL Deep fried. You can look up my first example sheet on the Cambridge website and do questions 7-11 if you're feeling nice. :)

It's not just about reading though, as different people learn through different methods. Usually it is easier to learn when someone is showing what to do, as it can be easier to remember than a load of text...

The good thing about the computer is that there are a number of fail-safes, so a little too much volts the system will usually just lock up (OVP) etc.

Just clear CMOS and go from there, only rarely do bits blow up...

I should think everyone here must have blown something up tho, I know I've had my fair share! :D

I blew up nearly 3 grands woth of stuff in one sitting, told the guys on a watercooling site I frequent and they thought I was nuts!
