HI everyone,
I'm a newbie at overclocking, so i kinda need some help.
Rig:
Case: NZXT Phantom
CPU: i7 950
Mobo: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R rev2
Cooler: iBUYPOWER Liquid Cooling System w/ 2x Enermax Marathon 120mm fan (Push/Pull)
GPU: EVGA GTX 460 1GB Superclocked 763mhz
Memory: Corsair Dominator 6gb (3x2gb) 1600 - 9-9-9-24
PSU: Corsair HX850W
Primary Drive: KIngston 30gb SSD
Secondary Drive: WD 1TB SATA 6gb/s
My goal is i7 950 @ 4ghz and maybe an 8-8-8-24 @ 1.65v timing for the memory.
I'd really appreciate it if anybody can help me.
BTW, what programs do i need before overclocking? i know a few..
