Help needed - can't delete a directory

there is no way i can delete a directory... everytime i try to delete vista told me it could not find this item and this s no longer located in c:

i tried to use the tuneup2009 schredder to delete the directory but same, can't get rid of it and it just rename the directory into ZZZZZZZ

i also tried to use the rd command in the dos prompt window and i got an access denied.

i can't even change the attributes in the properties...

i did a chkdsk on startup to fix any errors and still no way to remove that directory...

any idea what i could do or any utilities i could use to fix this problem?

Chances are some service has taken ownership of it, for whatever reason. Often doing it from safemode will deal with it, or atleast allow ownership changes (if u log in as admin).
