Help Me! Please!

Hi guys,

its upgrade time for me, im saying a sad goodbye to my i5 2320 and looking for something expensive... within means

i thought i had made up my mind with a 4770k and maximus vi formula, BUT... with prices fluctuating. i could get a 4820k and x79 deluxe.

now its gaming pc, yes but i want to do my fair share of video editing and it has always been my dream ( in pc aspect) to have an x79 pc.
really what i want to know is, is it worth it to get a x79 board and throw (not literall) a 4930k in.

im confused and excited cause i have waited three months to buy my new kit and now im thinking... again... and im not enjoying it... and ive watched about 20 videos on each board...

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!

If rendering speeds are really important go for it, it makes zero difference for gaming though.

If you are like me and already having thoughts of going to the next level before you bought anything, I would just do it now rather then later and save money in the long run. Rather then buying things twice. I am looking forward to the extra cores/threads as I do a lot of photo editing with RAW image files and my current CPU is always being maxed out.

i get what you are saying, but i dont have enough cash atm to get a 4930k and i need to get a new board and cpu beacuse im giving my old kit to my cousin, he will also upgrade (i hope).

do i commit to the 4770k as i need the wifi (yes i know that a cat 5 cable is better, but my dad wont let me run a 30m from downstairs, along the floor and up the wall to my room, until i get my rack set up).

This is also a deciding factor, so far i have tried to buy black and red components for thta colour theme and im planning on buying a asus gtx 780 ti dcii.

thing is a 4770k is £254 and a 4820K is £239

UGH, I need to sleep on this, and is the x79 deluxe an e-atx or am i imagining thing. TINY TOM LOGAN! im calling on your experince of both boards to tell me what is worth the money more?

No offence to you guys, as i do appreciate the help very much, but i just know that tom has used both boards.
