help me mod the antec 300

About Antec300, there is place to put additional fans. What is the length in mm for the depth for the fans, to be able to fit in there?

You can fit 2x 120mm fans in the front.

The normal depth I believe, 25mm. You do lose your 5.25" bays though, I thought it was done with the harddisk caddies?

ive only removed one side of the hardrive bays

at the moment im putting my effort into my mATX build for the iseries

So you cant keep the bays if you want to install a fan in there?

nope im using 3.5" too 5 1/2 bay converters for the HDD

That's strange.. but what if you want to put 2 fans in there, you can't install any dvd player and no hard disk?

You can try to attach the front 5.25" plate to your optical drive. It would look the same and noone would know you have it. I saw it somewhere on other forum and hopefully will do the same with my 300. Just received it yesterday, trying to downgrade from 900.
