I need some help on deciding which graphics card to get. Please vote then post why you chose that card.

This is what else i'm gonna be running...

Mobo - Abit Intel P35 Pro

Processor - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz G0 SLACR 95W 8Mb Cache LGA775 1066MHz, OEM

Case - Coolermaster 831 stacker

PSU - Corsair HX...

HD - Western Digital WD2500AAKS Caviar SE 250GB 7200RPM SATAII/300 16MB Cache

Soundcard - Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1 Sound Card

RAM - OCZ / 4GB DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz / Enhanced Latency Gold Gamer eXtreme XTC Edition

O/S - Windows Premium 64bit

I'm not really wanting to Overclock, i might give it a try a bit but when this computers all built im not gonna want to risk breaking it if i don't know what i'm doing.

I'm NOT gonna be an extreme gamer, and i don't need my computer to be able to run Crysis at its best... i just want a card that's good quality and one that's gonna really make a difference when watching movies.

Budget - £100ish give or take a little bit.

Any of those cards would be good.

But as a fanboi, I picked nVidia.

U may not be into extreme gaming, but that rig will be very good. U may not be into oc`ing, but even with minimal changes in setting that q6600 will give u more performance than it`s stock level.

Nice rig when it`s all done :)

Thanks for the replies,

So you would go with an nvidia over the radeon series? The most i could afford is £140 MAX and the cheapest 8800gt 512mb is at least 150

Is price an issue? If it is get an HD3850 and put the rest in your pocket safe in the knowledge you've made a nice investment
