HELP !!! help !!! HELP !!! :(

hi i dont know whether i have placed this thread in the correct place but i need help.

I cant play any of my games on my new computer i have installed them and they begin to load then this message appears.

'Please make sure that you have directx 9.0 or higher installed. also verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements, and that you do not have hardware accelerator disabled in the display control panel.'

my system is P5Q deluxe, e8400, sapphire 4870 1GB, 4GB OCZ, Corsair 650W and im running Vista 64bit.

I have checked my directx and hardware accelerator via run, dxdiag and it says i have directx 10 and hw accel is enabled.

Please help i need games

i dont wanna seem patronising or anything, but you have got your drivers installed and up to date haven't you? this kinda thing seems like iffy (or no) drivers to me....

Have you tried re-installing the games?

You need to go and download latest official drivers for your graphic card.

i have the latest drivers for my graphics card i will try reinstalling the game thanks for replying

thanks for everyones help i reinstalled my directx10, my graphics drivers and my games and now i am playing them perfectly. Thanks for your assistance.
