Hi ok so before I begin I only need some computer pars.
I am re using most of my pc parts and I need
Cpu (Was thinking of amd pildriver)
Motherbord
Memory
Cpu cooler
I have a very challenge if any one can help I would much me obliged.

This for 3d rendering I need a new system asap as my current one has just not got what it takes to use keyshot 4.

Keyshot 4 is cpu based rendering software so this why I was think amd as I can get 8 core cpu and amd as my budget is very low so I know some one here would can help me.

Its a challenge I must say:D

You'll want an intel cpu for rendering.
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3tp5w

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1220 V3 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor (£150.07 @ Scan.co.uk)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120V 86.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (£34.60 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: ASRock H87 Pro4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£54.56 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: GeIL Enhance CORSA 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory (£49.99 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £289.22

Well the Intel Xeon E3 might good for rendering but what about other tasks like play games and any cpu can play movies so im fine their to.

Will this cpu be good for gaming as I understand Xeon are no good in gaming or am I wrong?

Xeon's are perfectly capable of gameing however the E3-1220 v3 has no intergrated video so you will be needing to add a video card.

I'd pick up the Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3 for the extra £20 my self for the added Hyper-Threading and max turbo speed +3.7 GHz+ ( 4 cores 8 threads basicly a i7 for cheaper)

Will the Xeon's out preform i7-4770K that is over clocked?
I did see this
http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/489/Intel_Core_i7_i7-4770K_vs_Intel_Xeon_E3-1230_v2.html
I am confused in wither I should buy Xeon's or if i should buy i7 through i might have to wait a while before I can buy i7-4770K?
If Xeon's can beat a i7 then it might be better buy but i need one that can do everything.
HELP LOL IM STUCK

If you whant to spend the extra on a i7 then go for it the Xeon is a slightly underclocked i7 there made that way to be cool and stable for 24/7 operations hence the xeons are server cpu's.

Edit i just noticed the E3-1230V3 is on new egg for £150 on there new UK store bargin.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116906

Basically, the Xeon E3 1230 V3 is an i7 4770 without the on-board graphics. Well, very simply put and performance wise.

There is a difference in the instruction set, meaning that a Core i5 or i7 will be a bit quicker in gaming, but the Xeon is built for a 24/7 uptime as it's a server CPU. It features Hyperthreading just like the i7 series, but costs around the same as a higher-end i5. If you're going to buy a GPU anyway, it'll be a good purchase.

So for gaming I should be ok I mean I I play games whch I do would the cpu be good in that as I read on newegg this cpu is not made for gaming well thats what Naramsin B. seid
"Other Thoughts: It's probably not for gaming or overclocking. I use it on a basic Asus B85M motherboard. I would go with their CSM line, but really any 1150 mobo will do unless you're really pushing the limits. I will probably put this in my next gaming rig. It's cheaper than a 4770 with all the benefits. Might wait for DDR4 get the next version of this."
So what your take on this?
Can I still play games with this cpu?

Hi is thier an asus option as I dont want to try asrock. What would be alternative from asus?

No, considering its a server cpu it probably wasn't designed with games in mind however, yes you can play games with this. It'll still wreck any game you put it to, just slightly slower ( a few frames at most) than the equivalent i7. It also doesn't support higher RAM frequencies but thats not really your concern.

'try' implies you've never had asrock? They're fine. The asus equivilent will be more expensive.

Planetside 2 - HD7950 - Intel Xeon E3-1230v3

Can I ask by your suggesting the
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113284
£118.95
I know you seid intel but can I ask I am not tacky guy i see that amd cheaper is their any benif on buying amd as rendering and gaming machine or should I just go with intel?
Can you over clock or turbo the Intel cpu for when I am redering and if so which mothered should I look at?
I did see these
ASUS Z87-PRO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
or
ASUS SABERTOOTH
My current system was the very first amd dual core cpu with the very first asus gaming bord and 512mb gpu I have just order the gpu and know its time to think of the parts as I seid on the first post I am stuck Intel or amd grrr.
This build should last another 5 to 10 years as this how long my motherboard has lasted me and I leave it on 24/7.

also asus have seid
"*Intel Xeon Processor Family is designed for servers. Some features may not support when installed on 8 series chipsets. For more details, refer to ASUS support site at http://support.asus.com."
I was thinking of installing window 8 now I don't know can some confirm that this works with windows 8.0 and 8.1 the servers cpu?

-sigh-
Here we gooo.

1.AMD cpus are crap at rendering. the 8350 is slower than an i5 for rendering. Its a gaming cpu not rendering and gaming.
2. surely, as you leave your rig on 24/7 a server cpu would make sense considering they're designed for that.
3. It'll be fine. 8 series chipset not windows 8.
4. The Asus pro would be a nice motherboard.

Hi ok can
Cooler Master Nepton 140XL – Push-Pull CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 140mm Radiator and 2 JetFlo Fans be a good for the cooling thins Xeon?
Tom did revew this and it gold so I was thinking of getting this.
I might go ASUS SABERTOOTH as its dust resistance but I wonder if its a good chose?
Can this cpu be overcooked?

Masive overkill for a xeon thay dont get very hot a cheap £15 cpu heatsink will be fine and a sabertooth mobo for a xeon? yep over kill and i think thats a lot more than £300...

Can this cpu be overcooked?

xeon's are not made for overclocking and have a locked multiplier

What cpu heatsink sound I buy then?
bare in mid my computer will be on 24/7 rendering so which one should I get?

ASUS SABERTOOTH Z87 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
107.06
or
Asus Z87-Pro S1150 Intel Z87 DDR3 ATX
£81.48

Almost their know need a few more advice.

Hi from the list of these coolers can you tell me which one I should go with
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=Cooler+Master+Hyper+412S&N=-1&isNodeId=1 as I find newegg to have the best prices and the coolers they have are
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
Cooler Master Hyper T4 - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
so from these which one should I buy?

Newegg might not even have a UK distribution center yet so I wouldn't risk it unless you don't mind waiting :P.
To answer your question, whatever one is cheapest.
