I think it best to introduce myself before delving in feet first.
I built custom rigs for a few years before taking a four year (possibly more) break, then recently found my way back to custom builds courtesy of a close friend tempting me back into the custom build world talking over a Ryzen build, the various pro's and con's and the plethora of hardware choices.
Lest to say my wallet will certainly be screaming fairly soon
Looking forwards to tapping the knowledge of fellow members, reading through the various threads and learning what I have forgotten all over again, albeit I have finally let go of having on-board optical drives, going with external "use only when you need it" units.
Currently running a mildly OC'd AM3 "fairly regular, fairly anonymous" black cased rig for the time being.
