Hi everyone.
I forgot to introduce myself. I procrastinated, then forgot about it. I waited just to see what this forum was like. NCIX actually has a pretty terrible forum. It's full of trolling and bad answers (largely outdated or totally wrong). The only good people I can think of there are the employees and the moderators. They are both excellent. I felt a little burned over at NCIX. No one was really kind over there. It's not as bad as youtube though. I don't think anything can compare to the comment section.
I have got into largely accidental arguments over here too, but it was based on miscommunication mostly. I got into a "fight" with mayhem on the thread where the guy gave horrible water cooling advice. You know that one, right? I put fight in quotations because I didn't realize we were actually having any sort of disagreement, until I re-read what mayhem wrote. I was asking for his help in what he thought Spartan117FS did wrong, because I was trying to help the guy not blow up his rig. Mayhem thought differently.
I got the posts:
I realized that I f**ked up my 1st post, and apologized to mayhem. I didn't see the problem immediately because other forum members realized what I meant. In my defence, I wrote in context of helping the Spartan117FS. I started a list of where he went wrong, so we could off suggestions of how he could improve (a lesson isn't worth destroying 600 quid as Scoob put it). Mayhem assumed the list was about him. I PM'ed him and it's a non-issue now. I still think insulting another forum member is not cool (and is a little childish - save that for YouTube), under any circumstance.
If you couldn't tell, you should read what I mean to say, not so much what I actually write. LOL
Dugdiamond and I has a miscommunication because we use different terms for a programmer's skill level. I use C++ programmer and a skill level before that (ie. hobbyist / professional/etc), while he uses "programmer" as a skill level like this - C++ programmer or C++ hobbyist. IDK if we got that figured out.
Ah well, in spite of any disagreement that any forum member and myself have, I'll always love this community. I'd say it's one of the best out there. I gotta give a shout out to SieB. (<- I think I spelled that correctly). He helped me a lot when I first started out here.
I stopped folding for NCIX and joined up here because of people like him.
If you haven't figured this out already, I tend to write posts the size of essays. That kills me on YT. I think a lot of the context of what I'm saying gets lost in there. I can't seem to not write like that though.
TL;DR
you're all awesome. had some fights with forums member - solved now. I know a few programming languages. I fold for team 98860 now. bye.

PMSL think before you type... my 9 year old & 10 year old girl's will know more about water cooling, sub zero cooling, how to make liquids, what will cause problems and how to build and pc including software related problems than you. never mind what i know.
