Hello from Oregon in the USA! Long time watcher of TTL and OC3D here. Have been building custom PCs since I was a whee 10 years old.
Funny story, my first custom PC was built with the *Brand New* 1.0 GHz AMD T-Bird CPU!! Unfortunately my ambitious young mind installed it nix a CPU heatsink... needless to say the mighty T-Bird melted gloriously upon liftoff. Since then I have improved in leaps and bounds in my PC building prowess (at least I think so).
Current Rig:
Case: CM Storm Trooper custom painted with yellow highlights to match my Z77 MPower mobo/680 Lightning.
Mobo: MSi Z77 MPower
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K CPU @ 4.2 GHz
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
GPU1: MSi GTX 680 Lightning (First GPU installed with initial build)
GPU2: ASUS GTX 680 Direct CUII (Obtained 6 months later. Wanted another Lightning, however I got this card for a steal so I got this instead)
RAM: 16Gb of Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 1866 MHz.
SSD: 2 x 128 Gb Samsung 840 Pros in RAID 0
HDD: 1 Tb WD Caviar Black
PSU: 850w Thermaltake SMART-M Semi Modular (Got this on the cheap too)
Monitor: 27" LG LED + Shitty 15" Dell for temp monitoring
Anyhoot I am glad to finally be a forum member and look forward to contributing what I can to the community!
