Heatsink for the SB-E

Any information about the heatsink for the sandy bridge-E? will the 1155 heatsinks fit the SB-E cpu?

The reason im asking is because im about to order my cpu waterblock.

I'd heard it was LGA 1366 mounting holes size, but I wouldn't chance it.

I think I heard something about the 2011 socket having its own bracket mounting holes. I mean the heatsinks are fine, but I'd probably wait until the companies release compatible mounting accessories or news of something similar. Better to be sure of it first right?

Absolutely. Will wait then. just thought i could save some time by ordering it early. Have to order the block from U.S, so it takes a few weeks to get it.

Being patient pays off in the end. In the meantime, you're still waiting for the hardware for your LAN rig or you have all the parts already? By the way, where were you able to get the TJ08-E? So far none of the suppliers over here have any stock or availability for it. Don't want to lose hope yet. It's such a nice little chasis to have.

im getting the cpu, mb, dh-14, f3 hdd, ram tomorrow or wednesday. the case is dealyed to end of this month. Can install the components in my lian li x500 and swoop chassis when i get my TJ08. Using my 6 year old lap top now

Oh nice chasis, but it's tall even for a mid size. How about your main PC, it's not the one you're customising with all the gold is it? Specialtech ran out of stock for the TJ08-E. Seems like everyone's sold out. Just hope it doesn't get discontinued or something.

All I know about it so far is that the mounting plate is now part of the socket, and the H100 comes with risers to screw into them. Not sure about the spacing.

Best point of research is probably the H100 installation guide/manual. Will have a look for the PDF.
