Heatsink for Socket 478

Need a new heatsink for my firewall...

Its got a Pentium 4 2.4GHz with stock HS. The HS has started to get noisy and I am planning on putting a faster processor and more memory in as a "last it the next two years" upgrade

Planning on a 3.2Ghz or possibly 3.4Ghz chip which will NOT be overclocked.

Its going on an Asrock P4VM8 board (it was cheap)

Anyone recommended a good, effective, quiet heatsink for the above?

Its in a mini tower of fairly standard size and I really don't want to take the PC apart to put a backing plate on the board to mount a 3 ton heatsink so a simple to mount HS would be nice...

Ive got a arctic freezer 4 on mine (or had, before i threw it under phase:p) and it was very good. Quiet and the temperatures were max about 45°C under a full F@H load.

do you use it for things other than a firewall. i mean isnt that a little overkill?

SMTP, HTTP, FTP Proxy all with AV

IDS

That's about it really

Is there such a thing as overkill? I have always felt that there is sufficient and insufficient. The latter I try to avoid!!!

Scythe Ninja plus rev.b will do a 478.

Other than that what`s the stock cooler like ?

Its the usual cheap tacky light piece of aluminium that is a stock HS. Normally not too noisy - but the fan is failing so making a noise (and yes I have tried cleaning it)

I could replace the fan - but I am buying a faster chip w/o a HS so thought I would get a better HS to go with it as the opportunity has arisen. The Ninja is also a bit more than I wanted to spend on a stuff it in the cupboard and pretend its not there PC that runs at very low utilisation most of the time.
