Headset advice

Hey guys,

So my old trustworthy Logitech G35's are slowly breaking down on the earpads, which unfortunately is fake leather/plastic and not memory foam.

I have gone through 3 of these already and the G35's are well fit for me, but once I tried the new Sennheiser GSP 300's and their memory foam ear pads... Man, I was so sold.

And I have tried searching around on the web to see if it anything comes across, but nothing major so far... So now I'm asking if you guys may know any similar type headsets out there, with over the ear, memory foam?.

What I'm after is this: closed, the earcups should not just be able to tilt up and down, but also some to the sides, somewhat deap earcups (so that my ears doesn't touch the inside of the earcups, ie the Sennheiser Game Zero's are too short in distance for this, as an example).

And that's about it, and I don't have an dedicated soundcard. Either onboard audio or USB connection.

Also I do like the black and blue on the GSP 300's, since my setup is the same. But all black is fine as well.

Any advice is welcome :)

Thanks,
Chrazey

I have big jug ears and mine don't touch the inside of my Sennheiser Game one's are you sure you had the zero's adjusted correctly as mine are the most comfortable headset bar none and sound fantastic to boot

How do you mean by this?...

If you have the head band a bit short the ear cups tend to squeeze tighter than they should which leads to discomfort so take the time to seat the headset correctly and if done right you almost don't know you are wearing them
I wear glasses too and they don't even press my glasses into my head and ears and I can game for hours with them on with ZERO discomfort
BUT if I bump the adjustment the wrong way either in or out then they can get uncomfortable

Stop throwing money away on headsets and invest in a real, proper pair of headphones and a mic. Make sure the headphones you like can be switched about (ear cups) etc if they rot.

The headband has started going on my Dre Detox (fake) but they are my fave headphones for dance music and reggae. Will have to see what is about, or, just wrap it with something.

Steelseries Arctis 3, Kingston HyperX Cloud 2... not sure what material they use but they've had good reviews.
