Not sure if I can mention the etailer, but they have a blue forum

Beat yourselfs up and enjoy the red teams new aggresive pricing

Not sure if your on about ref or non ref, but I'm seeing some non-ref cooler cards in the region of 325-335 (7950) (including some OC editions

I just hope the 6** (below 680) don't follow the same price scaling as the 680.

(I guess it depends on the performance)

If the 670's can be flashed with the 680 bios for 680's clocks, assuming Nvidia don't nerf the cpu somehow, it could be an amazing bargain. I think they'll still be more than £300 though, around £330-360 for starters.

Fair point. I guess it just depends on your preferences & opinions. I mean personally I'd rather pick myself up a 7950 for that price range. (At this time of the year anyway, as they have/will have slightly more ironed out drivers than the new 670 for example, afaik)

However if, like you say, they can be flashed to 680 clocks, I can see the potential in the future for the ... 670 for example.

Sounds like there could be another price drop (and maybe a permanent one driven by AMD) coming over the next few days.

Looking like a $55-60 drop in 79xx

78xx are selling too well it seems for a price drop.

77xx might see a minor price drop (less than $15)

Overclockers, who already have some of the cheapest 79xx prices out there have said they expect them to drop back down to the £299/360 prices.

Hands of the HIS 7950, I want one! Imo there is no point getting a 7970/680 unless the prices close on the 7950...neither of them are 20% better than a 7950.

M&P

Pixmania.com have the Sapphire 7950 OC for £319 inc and a reference 7970 for £343 inc... Remember to remove the crap they add to the basket and use code PIXUKAP5 for £5 off and Quidco cashback as well.... :-)

Prices drop officially from AMD tomorrow by $50 for the 7970 and $40 for the 7950 so hopefully these prices will be for all retailers. I hope they drop the price of the 7870 as well because I might actually buy one if they do

I'm tempted to replace my unlocked 6950 with a 7950 or 7970 but I'm still a little dubious if I will notice much of an improvement at 1080p.
