hd 6950 has lower core clock while gaming

sup guys, my 6950 has a default core clock of 840mhz and memory 1280, the memory is fine while gaming but the core clock stays at 725mhz max, this explains why i had been getting lower 3dmark 11 scores

any help will be highly appreciated

Something to do with Amd Overdrive I suspect, try enabling overdrive in the performance panel of ccc and put your power controll settings to 20%

are youre temps good?

are you running stock voltage?

I suspect it might have to do with afterburner, you can try Overdrive or Sapphire trixx aswell
